I've always been a 'somanaut' — fascinated by the intersections of mind, body, and soul, and how we heal through touch, movement, stillness, creativity, and connection to nature. People call me Violett, like the spring flower, though my proper name is Shawna Violett.

For nearly 30 years as a bodyworker, craniosacral/fascia specialist, and energy healer, I've helped thousands of people move with more ease, recover from injury, and reconnect with their strength and resilience. My hands have become finely tuned, intuitive instruments, able to sense tension patterns in your body and facilitate their release. I've navigated my own healing crisis, too. In 2021, a major injury stilled my hands and sidelined the work I'd built my life around. I lost my sense of direction, no longer able to serve what felt like my life's calling. I held to a knowing that one day I'd heal — and I understand the courage + effort it takes to believe in and rebuild yourself. Now I’m on the other side of that journey, delighted to hold space for healing again. I'll be your ally: compassionate and grounded, with unwavering belief in your capacity to heal, evolve, and live better in your body.

Luminous Ground represents the 'lifted-yet-grounded' state I aim to create for myself and my clients. It's the way a sunrise warms and enlivens the land. It's about bringing more 'soul light' into our bodies and daily lives — so that ease and vitality become the very ground we stand on.
